FAQ: FTX Import Restrictions
TL;DR:
FTX API import is no longer available due to the exchange’s bankruptcy. You can still import your trade, deposit, and withdrawal data using CSV files via our Custom Importer. Use the files from claims.ftx.com or contact FTX support. Note that the “core_transactions.csv” file cannot be imported directly and PERP/Margin PnL data must be requested separately.
Can I still import my FTX data?
No, FTX API connections are no longer supported since the platform has shut down.
However, you can still import your transaction history manually using the CSV export functionality provided by FTX through:
Or by contacting FTX support
The available export files typically include:
Trades
Deposits
Withdrawals
These files can be imported using the CoinTracking Custom Importer.
What about the core_transactions.csv file?
FTX may also provide a file called core_transactions.csv. Important notes about this file:
This file cannot be imported directly using the Custom Importer
It includes a mix of trades, deposits, withdrawals, and other data
If you want to use this file, you must extract and format each type of transaction separately to match our import template
You can find instructions and templates for formatting your data here:

How do I import my CSV files into CoinTracking?
Below are the instructions for importing each file using the Custom Exchange Import.
Importing Trades
Go to Custom Importer
Upload your Trade CSV
Use the correct import settings
You can set these manually
Or import our template file
Note:
Only spot trades will be imported
PERP and Margin trades must be entered separately as PnL data
FTX does not include this data by default, so you'll need to request it from their support
Importing Withdrawals
Go to Custom Importer
Upload your Withdrawals CSV
Use the appropriate settings
Manually configure the columns
Or use our ready-to-load settings
Importing Deposits
Go to Custom Importer
Upload your Deposits CSV
Configure the settings manually or import our template
Tips for Working with CSV Files
Always save your import settings for future use
Make sure to create a backup of your CoinTracking account before importing
You can also manually edit or delete transactions via the Transactions page
Summary
Due to the FTX shutdown:
Use CSV files for manual import (Trades, Withdrawals, Deposits)
Do not use core_transactions.csv directly
Request additional data like PnL if needed
Format files properly and save your import settings to streamline the process
