TL;DR: The CoinTracking account settings allow you to fully customize your account. You can manage security, display preferences, tax and advanced configurations, billing details, and data restoration or account deletion. The settings are structured into six clearly defined sections.
What are the CoinTracking account settings?
The account settings serve as the central configuration hub of your CoinTracking account. They allow you to manage login data, security options, interface formatting, tax logic, and advanced tools for experienced users.
What sections are available in the account settings?
General Settings
This section contains core account and preference options:

Import Preferences Control default behavior for exchange and wallet imports.
Timezone for Cached Data Choose when daily data snapshots are calculated.
Reset Asset Values Recalculate stored asset values for all transactions.

Fund Distribution Automatically distribute assets from a master account to sub-accounts.
Early Access Program Participate in testing of upcoming features, reports, and imports.
Why does my tax report time out or load very slowly?
If your portfolio contains a very large number of transactions, report generation can take a long time and, in some cases, fail with a timeout error (visible as a CloudFront 504 error). This happens because the server needs more time to process an unusually high transaction count than the request allows.
In this situation, the Transaction Grouping tool (day-grouping) is recommended as a fix: it merges transactions with identical parameters that occurred on the same day, reducing the overall number of transactions that need to be processed and helping reports generate successfully. This feature is available on the Unlimited and Corporate plans. If you are on a lower plan and want to test whether grouping resolves a timeout issue before committing to an upgrade, you may request a trial period of the Unlimited plan to try out the grouping feature.
Billing
Manage subscription and payments:
Plan Details View your current subscription tier and expiration date.
Invoices Access and download past billing invoices.
Are monthly subscriptions available?
CoinTracking does not offer monthly subscriptions. Any upgrade requires a minimum commitment of one year. Depending on availability, a discount may be offered on the upgrade price. Reach out via support to check current options.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel a paid plan, go to Account Settings > Billing. Under Plan Details, look for the Cancel Subscription button and click it to end your subscription. As part of this process, a discount coupon may be offered as an incentive to keep your current plan. Accepting or declining it is entirely optional.
If you don't see a Cancel Subscription button, your subscription has already been canceled and no further action is required.
Can I get a refund or exercise my right of withdrawal?
If a payment has already been charged and you wish to withdraw from the purchase, you may be entitled to a right of withdrawal. In this case, use the refund request form to submit your request. Processing times for refunds can vary, so allow some time after submission for your request to be reviewed and completed.
Restore and Delete
Control data retention and account status:
Restore Transactions Upload backups to restore portfolio data.
Delete Transactions Use bulk editing tools on the Transactions page.
Delete Account Permanently and irreversibly delete your CoinTracking account.
Summary
The CoinTracking account settings allow full control over security, taxation logic, display preferences, billing, and advanced features. Their modular structure makes it easy to tailor CoinTracking to your portfolio complexity, tax jurisdiction, and personal requirements.
