Create backup, restore or export your account data

We recommend that you regularly generate backups of your CoinTracking account via Account/Trades Backup. In addition a backup before you do major changes/adjustments within your accounts is sensible. In case you did not create backups on your own and delete your data accidentally, we have no possibility to restore it.  

You can restore your data if needed within your account. If you are using multiple linked accounts you can restore the backup data from Account1 into Account2 as well.



If you want to backup your account data and store it locally please go to the "Enter Coins" page and choose Export - CSV. For a recovery you can use the CSV Importer. This will not include TradeIDs


Please note that API Jobs and custom prices could not be part of any backup.


Note: Custom prices for coins and NFTs and other information that you assign to those coins here are currently not part of the backup. These must be re-entered there after a restore into another account.
