Binance US API - Update Trade Pairs

In this article we will explain how to update trade pairs via the Binance US API.

For the Binance US API, updating trade pairs may occasionally be necessary, unlike other exchanges with an active API connection.

Whenever you execute a transaction involving a new trade pair (a combination of two cryptocurrencies) that you haven't traded before on Binance US, you will need to update the trade pairs. We will guide you through this process in this article.

Example:

If you trade BTC/XLM (trade pair) for the first time on Binance US and have not traded this combination of coins previously, you will need to update the trade pairs to import the new transactions.

However, if you have traded the BTC/XLM pair on Binance US before, no update is required.

When setting up the API Job for the first time, all your existing trade pairs on Binance US will be automatically identified and imported.

But if you trade a new pair later on, a manual update of the API job is required.

Follow these steps to update your Trade Pairs:

1) On the Binance US API Import Page, scroll down to your active Binance US jobs and click "edit."

2) After that, select "Update Job and Trade Pairs" to add any new trade pairs.

Once updated, your new trade pairs will be included. Additionally, if BNB is used for transaction fees, these fees will also be imported automatically.

Please note: The process of updating trade pairs may take several hours to complete. During the search for trade pairs, the API remains at status "in progress".
