TL;DR
Tokens currently flagged as “Potential Spam” are now automatically marked as “Spam” by default, which means they will not be imported into your account unless you manually mark them as “Not Spam.”
1) How to find the Spam Center
In your CoinTracking account navigate to Tools → Spam Center to review flagged contract addresses.
2) What is the Spam Center?
The Spam Center gives you control over unwanted tokens by classifying them into three categories:
Potential Spam – Tokens flagged as suspicious by block-explorers or heuristics
Spam – Tokens that are blocked by default or which you have manually marked
Not Spam – Tokens you’ve reviewed and confirmed as legitimate
3) How the new default classification works
Any contract address already identified as “Potential Spam” will now be automatically moved to the Spam tab.
Transactions tied to these addresses will be excluded from future imports unless you override this setting manually.
To re-enable import of a token, you must mark it as Not Spam in the Spam Center—this will allow it to be included in the next import run.
4) How to mark or unmark tokens
To mark as Not Spam:
In the Spam Center, locate the token in the Spam or Potential Spam tab.
Select Mark as Not Spam.
The asset moves to the Not Spam tab and will be included on your next import.
To mark as Spam (if a token wasn’t auto-flagged):
Go to the Transactions page and edit the transaction.
Choose Mark as Spam.
Confirm deletion of related transactions if desired and the contract address is blocked going forward.
5) Deleting related transactions upon marking
When you mark a token as Spam:
You will be shown all associated transactions.
You can choose to delete them—keeping your wallet free from unwanted entries.
They will not be re-imported (unless later marked as Not Spam).
6) What happens if you unmark a token?
The token moves from the Spam tab back to Potential Spam or Not Spam depending on classification.
If it was previously blocked, you must trigger an import (or wait for the next import run) for it to appear again.
Review carefully to ensure you’re not exposing your wallet to unwanted tokens.
7) What to do if a legitimate token is in Potential Spam?
If you recognise a token in the Potential Spam list as valid:
Mark it as Not Spam.
It will then move to the Not Spam tab and be allowed in future imports.
This ensures your data remains accurate and no genuine transactions are omitted.
8) Additional Information
The Spam Center currently supports these blockchains: ADA, AETH, ALGO, ATOM, AVAX, BNB, BSC, CRO, DOT, ELGD, ETH, LINEA, FTM, LUNA, SOL, SONIC, OP, AVAX, BLAST, METIS, ETH, BSC, UNI, BASE, AETH, XDAI
Tokens imported via legacy Blockchain Import jobs may not support blocking via the Spam Center. To ensure full functionality, delete those old imports and re-import via the current importer.
