4) Using the Spam Center to prevent transactions from being re-imported
5) Delete transactions grouped by import date
1) General information on unwanted transactions and our importers
When importing transactions via API or Blockchain Import, you may receive coins that you have never actually traded before.
These coins are airdropped into your wallet and may have no value or a false value, which can distort your portfolio.
You can't simply delete these fake transactions, as our API and blockchain importers re-import all your coins every 24 hours. (If set to automatic import).
We offer two ways to prevent and permanently delete unwanted transactions, either by setting a start date or by using the Token Spam Center:
2) How to Identify spam tokens
To identify and remove spam transactions effectively, follow these steps:
First, enable the advanced table view to find the transaction hash of the suspicious transaction on the Transactions page.
Copy and enter the transaction hash into the corresponding blockchain explorer (in this case, Etherscan) to get more details. In most cases, spam transactions are already marked as such or with similar namings (like Fake_Phishing in our example)
Alternatively, enter the affected wallet address directly into the dedicated blockchain explorer (in this case, Etherscan) to review all associated transactions and identify suspicious activities. If applicable, activate the spam filter to show hidden spam transactions.
Once a transaction is confirmed as spam, go back to the Transactions page. The spam transaction can be removed by using one of the following methods:
- Setting a start date
- Using the Spam Center / Mark as Spam feature
- Deleting transactions by import date
3) Setting a start date
4) Using the Spam Center
Please note that the Spam Center is only available for the following blockchains:
5) Delete transactions grouped by import date
If your deleted transactions have already been re-imported after setting a start date for your blockchain job, you need to delete them again: How to Edit and Delete Transactions
You can also delete the transactions grouped by import date.
To do this, go to Transactions, Bulk Delete and select the exchange/wallet whose transactions you want to delete:
Next, click on "Delete selected transactions by import/added date (optional)" and choose the time frame in which the transactions should be deleted.
Another method is to individually delete your recently imported transactions. Therefore, go to Transactions and set your table view to "Extended with additional columns." Here, you can sort by import date by clicking the arrows under "Add Date."
