FAQ: HUOBI CSV - Settings for Custom Importer
TL;DR:
To import Huobi data into CoinTracking, use the huobi_all_history_in_tabs.xlsx file from Huobi, separate the Exchange and Transfer tabs into two files, and upload each using the Custom Exchange Importer with the appropriate settings (.dat files available). Old formats require legacy settings.
Overview
To import your Huobi data into CoinTracking using the Custom Exchange Importer, please use the huobi_all_history_in_tabs.xlsx file. This file is available directly through the Huobi website or by requesting it from their support team.
This Excel file contains multiple tabs. You will need the Exchange and Transfer tabs for import.
You must separate the tabs into two individual files before uploading.
Step 1: Import the Exchange Tab
Upload the Exchange tab file on the Custom Exchange Import page and apply the settings shown in the screenshot below:
Alternatively, use the provided import settings file Huobi_Exchange_Settings.dat to configure the column mappings automatically. You can find a step-by-step guide for importing/exporting .dat settings files here:
How to Import / Export Custom Settings
Tip: Save your custom settings once configured for easier reuse later.
Step 2: Import the Transfer Tab
Next, upload the Transfer tab as a separate file and use the settings shown in the following screenshot:
Alternatively, use the .dat file Huobi_Transfer_Settings.dat to load the Transfer settings automatically. The same guide as above can be used for importing this configuration.
Legacy Note: Settings for the Old Huobi File
If you're using an older Huobi export file format (prior to their current tab-separated format), please refer to our legacy configuration guide. This section applies only to users with outdated data formats and will not work with the current tabbed format.
